Kevin Hancock

Chief Executive
Kevin is a co‑founder of Yutree and a Chartered Insurance Broker. He began his career in sales and underwriting before moving into broking in the mid-90s. Kevin has chaired the CII’s Society of Insurance Broking, served as a Director of BIBA, and is a trustee and director of local charitable foundations. Outside work, he enjoys watching rugby, cricket & motorsport.
Laura Hancock

Managing Director
Laura began her insurance career with Norwich Union in 1995, later joining The Davis Group and becoming Director of Distribution at Bluefin. A Member of the Institute of Leadership & Management with Cert CII accreditation, she chairs BIBA’s Insurance, Technology and Innovation Committee and sits on several BIBA and CII boards.
Peter Foster

Director
Peter was Managing Director of Norwich insurance brokerage H J Boswell, leading the business through its sale in 2020. He now runs a consultancy supporting organisations to improve growth and profitability. Peter joined Yutree in 2025, focusing on business development for the Norwich branch, where he is well known.
Peter Sheppard

Non-Executive Director
Peter is Managing Director of NES Healthcare, leading the UK’s primary provider of Resident Doctors since 2005. A qualified solicitor, he previously advised on corporate and commercial matters as Partner and Head of Commercial at a Norwich law firm and served as a Non‑Executive Director of insurance broker H J Boswell. Peter joined Yutree in 2025.

Garry Miles
Dip CII
Underwriting Manager
Garry began his insurance career in broking before spending over 20 years as a commercial underwriter with Aviva. He joined Yutree in 2017, bringing extensive technical knowledge. Outside work, Garry enjoys hill walking, swimming, learning French, the occasional Lego build, leading a local Beaver Scout colony, and supporting Arsenal Football Club.
Kerry Eves

Business Development Manager
Kerry began her insurance career in 1983 with Commercial Union, moving into business development roles across a Lloyd’s syndicate, MGAs and, more recently, the network space in both sales and operations. She joined Yutree as Business Development Manager in 2025. Outside work, Kerry enjoys competing in Dog Agility with her dogs.
Ross Elliott
Dip CII
Senior Development Underwriter
Ross began his insurance career in 2004 as an underwriter with Norwich Union, later managing the University of Cambridge’s insurance programme before joining Yutree in 2017. He became Dip CII qualified and was promoted to Senior Underwriter in 2022. Outside work, Ross follows his favourite football team and supports his two daughters, who both play.
Danielle Rairigh

Underwriter and Business Analyst
Danielle began her insurance career in 2005, with experience at The Davis Group and national broker Bluefin Insurance. She works in Yutree’s underwriting team, where her underwriting expertise and broker relationships support a high level of service. Danielle drives efficiencies through technology, helping keep Yutree at the forefront of innovation.
Gemma Fletcher

Underwriter
Gemma began her insurance career in 2008 with The Davis Group, now Victor Insurance UK. She brings extensive experience as a Senior Underwriter specialising in Freight Liability, Warehouse Keepers’ Liability and Cargo/Stock Throughput insurance. Outside work, Gemma enjoys travelling widely and attending music festivals and live concerts.
Kerry Oldfield
Underwriter
Kerry began her insurance career in 2005 with The Davis Group, remaining with the business through multiple acquisitions over 17 years. She brings broad experience across broker advisory, liability underwriting and senior underwriting roles. Outside work, Kerry enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, reading and walking.
Tracy Wisby-Grew

Underwriter
Tracy began her insurance career as Yutree’s first apprentice, joining in 2020 as a Trainee Underwriter and progressing to Underwriter. She brings valuable experience from previous roles in retail and Royal Mail. Outside work, Tracy enjoys long walks and paddleboarding with her partner and their dog.
Jane Craig
Underwriter
Jane has worked in insurance since 1988, building extensive experience across underwriting organisations now known as Victor Insurance. After a short career break volunteering in cat rescue and community support, she later joined Q Underwriting and is now part of the Yutree team. Jane enjoys socialising with friends and travelling.
Danny Elvin

Underwriter
Danny began his career as an Underwriting Apprentice, qualifying in Spring 2025. He brings strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure, developed through previous roles and his apprenticeship. Outside work, Danny is a Cambridge United season ticket holder and enjoys video games and cars.
Jess Smart
Underwriting Operations Support
Jess provides support to the Underwriting team, ensuring processes run smoothly and documentation is issued on time to maintain customer service. She brings many years of experience in customer service, having worked as a Conveyancing Assistant and Head Receptionist at a veterinary surgery. Outside work, she enjoys family time locally.
