Yutree team at the BIBA Anglia Tour of the Regions event

The Yutree team was delighted to be a part of BIBA Chief Executive Graeme Trudgill’s first stop on his ‘Tour of the Regions’.

This event, which focused on regulatory insights provided by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), brought together brokers and industry professionals for an engaging and informative discussion on the current and future regulatory landscape.

At the heart of the discussion were key industry challenges, particularly around fair value, both in a broad sense and in specific areas such as premium finance. These issues have dominated sector conversations recently, and the opportunity to delve into the details during the event was both timely and valuable.

The FCA’s contribution allowed us to explore the intent behind regulations, the challenges brokers face in implementing them, lessons learned from past experiences, and, crucially, the practical steps needed to ensure positive outcomes for clients and the sector as a whole. The session reaffirmed that while the regulatory environment can be complex, we all share the same objective: delivering fair value and optimal results for our clients.

We owe a special thank you to our Regional Chair, Jo Hocking, whose leadership was instrumental in the success of the event. Alongside her, Yutree’s own Broking Manager, Shari Storey, played a pivotal role in driving conversations and championing the future of our industry through her ongoing efforts with the Anglia Young Brokers’ programme.
