The Foreign Office is advising against all but essential travel to Sri Lanka

May 2, 2019

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all but essential travel to Sri Lanka in light of the ongoing security operation and heightened risk of terrorism following the attacks on Easter Sunday.

Elements of travel insurance may not apply if you do choose to travel – please check your travel insurance as policy cover does vary. If in doubt, please contact us.

Tour operators and travel agents are likely to be the first point of contact for people needing to change their trip.

Keep up to date with the current situation by visiting the FCO web site. It is always advisable to check their web site before all international travel.
